37X12.5X16.5 HUMMER Wheels M1008?

Im looking at putting some of these wheels on my 86 M1008
I use the truck as a daily driver and Im tired of listening the the wrapped out 6.2 on the freeway.....
Any advise tips?

and you will only go like 65 70 on the free way! you can get the tires to fit better if you put a zero rate up front.

You'll also need spacers on the front at least to clear the wheels away from the suspension. If you're looking for a set, we've got a couple dozen 12 bolt wheel and tire combos in the warehouse.

A local guy has some of these tires on Hummer wheels that have been modified with 3.5" backspacing. Would these work?

yes that is the correct back spacing

My tires are MT 37x12.50 R16.5 LT M+S, I beleive the rims would be the same as yours. I have a 4 lift to clear the front.

i have the 8 bolt double bead lock wheels with the 37x12.5 s and i did a 3in body lift and opened up the lower front and rear of the fenders. works perfect and flexes out nice.

My 1028 with a 6in lift. I think zero rates would help too

I'm a little bit confused. How did you get the 8-lug hummer wheels on a 6-lug hub? Also how did you modify the wheel so that the offset is only 3.5"?
