Boyhood dream nearing completion

As a kid, besides sleeping with all of Charlies Angles (at the same time) one of my greatest dreams was having a WWII jeep.

Drumroll please, fire the 21 gun salute, all stand at attention, que the theme from Patton:

BUT!!--strangely enough there is one of these pink Hot Wheels jeeps for sale on a "local" auction site. I saw it last nite while looking for old stuff. Says it's good shape for being 10 years old. Something about all boys in the family and the pink just ain't workin' out------

If anyone is interested PM me, I can give the E-coordinates---???--? One quart of Rapco an' yer good to go----

A photo of a 83rd Recon jeep with the side mount. The bumper number is interesting and states D-1 1/2

as in Delta one and one half.

Never saw that before.

Ford or Willys? Either way, that is a sweet looking jeep. My dad has a '44 GPW and it is still one of my favorite jeeps of all time.
