We need a means to handle withdrawal symptons if this should ever happen again. Going cold turkey is rough. Thanks for getting it fixed.

We're back up.

The short of it...

CPU fan died and took down the server. We were dead in the water until the hardware was repaired. When the server came back up, some of the software was corrupted. (PHP) Got that reinstalled, then had some other issues afterwards. We're back up and running now. I just re-enabled all the hooks and add ons to the site.

I've still got a few things to address behind the scenes.

Also I'm sorry for all the people that have tried to email me. The site was emailing me 61 times a minute (Once per second). So a lot of people probably were getting error messages when they tried emailing me.

Kinda like a busy signal when ya call somebody on the phone without call waiting??

At first I thought it was shut down for Memorial Day: off course, no problem, very understandable...
Then, Thuesday I started getting nervous...

Very happy to find SS is operating normally again!

My gosh, you don't realize how much you depend on this resource, till it goes down! I could not reach other members for help or research the forum articles that i always figured I could access any time. Now I can get back to installing my Westac pyro......

Thought the site got hacked since I had another of those "overthrow the government" emails in my spam box on Monday. Doesn't say it came from SS, but the timing of it made it look bad.

Glad to have it back up. I was having a hard time making excuses for the SO on not doing yard work. Saying that I was helping people online with truck problems was hard with the site down

Pretty much was is state of shock over here! First six virus's and a trojan over the weekend for laptop. Then SS went down. Thought problem was on my end till message came up today. Thanks to all who worked very hard to get us back up and running! Back reaching out to those that can help. Maybe Chaplain can offer a proper prayer?
