Ow! You have my most sincere condolences on the kidney stone! I had one encounter with them, and ended up passing eleven of them, with the biggest one at around 2mm. They were the smooth gravel-like variety, and not big enough to need anything more than lots of water and pain pills. Still, the pain was SO bad at first, before I got to the point where I called for an ambulance (not yet knowing what was even going on), that for a moment I had to think about whether to dial 911 or 1911!
Yes indeed! 1911 or 911 crossed my mind many times. My stone was almost 4 mm and a jagged crystal like surface kinda felt like passing one of those three barbed fishing hooks and lots of bloodThank you!
