My deuce work in progress

I have started priming It I will try and update as I go

That ol girl is every shade of the rainbow. But I see the potential under all of those layers of carc and primer.....and rattle can. Bet she's gonna be nice when your done.

I used black and red primer on and was testing a green on the bumper the tank will come out. I just started on it this week I am going for the OD green and star look

Sounds like your pretty much going the direction I'm going to go. I'm going od green for the most part. Underside of truck will be black along with gas tank, tool/battery box, front fenders, bumpers, and grill. I have seen a few trucks painted that way and man it looks sharp. I also love the solid od with stars. Can't beat classic. Can't wait to see it done.

I was thanking black bumper and wheels I still need to find the right side troop seats I have the left I have a good soft top and a hard top

Search Google images and you will more than likely find one with a black grill. A lot of brush trucks were painted that way. For me it mostly breaks up the very cube shape of the deuce. Wouldn't want to sell that hard top would ya?

Sorry just re-read and saw you said black bumper. Most truck I have seen with a black grill have the black bumper.

I am going to paint the radiator black and right no feat in the grill
My dad had it on one of the m35a2s the fire dept had it looks good

Ya I bet that would look good. One idea I tossed around was painting the rad and bumper black and painting the actual grill od green. What you think?

Not letting my hard top go but may be able to get one if the truck is not sold soon I will let you know I am helping a VFD sale the old deuces

I have a m104 that the bed is in bad shape I may mount a gen/light set on the frame
