HanksDeuce wanted me to check the noise levels in my cab since I installed the "Dynamat" liner. So here they are. Just a note that I forgot to cover the steering column hole in the firewall so the actual noise level would be lower then the pictures show.
I actually took five pictures but only these two came out. The first showed the noise level with the engine off. That was 43 decibels . The second was at idle 700 rpm's and it registered 80 decibels. The third is here at 1000 rpm and it is 83 decibels. The fourth is also here showing 90 decibels at 2000 rpm and the last was at 2500 rpm and it was also 90 decibels. That is a considerable drop to what it was. Of course that is going on my own discernment since I didn't use the meter then, but to me it is much quieter.
