I was wondering what tops will fit, and if there are any where should I buy them. I found one for sale and it doesn't come with a top so I was wanting to know about it. If you would like to see some of the pictures just ask.

Cab soft tops are available from around $79.00 from a couple of sources, Easy to find on line, CORRECT rear troop carrier, GOOD LUCK , I gave up a few years ago and just buy a proper size heavy weight canvas , I have found end canvas on occasion, but have never bought one that was in good shape, usually pretty thin or rotted , don't last a season. Welcome

Red River parts has NOS hard tops. However, I would recommend mocking up something, say with 2x4s, then try climbing in and out a half dozen times. One of the reasons I sold my Goat was the difficulty getting in/out of it and it didn't have any top.

Ok I just turned 16 a little over 6' but I'm used to being in a car with barely enough room. I've also been in a M35A2 on a long road trip. And these "little" things are worth it. Especially with how much this guy is asking.

I think the hard top kit is $550 or $650 I don't remember, + freight shipping. Trying to find a complete soft top frame will be very difficult, where they all went is any ones guess. Rear bows and covers are even more difficult to find. Seat cushions are hard to find and/or expensive when you find them. Tires are unique to this machine and weigh 100lbs each and the original 6ply version is no longer made. I would look it over very carefully and see what is missing and in poor condition, a single bad u joint can cost $100 each or more and it has a lot of them. To answer the original question the top is unique to the goat.

Thanks, it has the rear bows and all tires are good, I can get the seats made by a friend, but the windshield frame isn't that well but I can fix it and I have a friend who is a glazer so that is no problem.

I'm not trying to discourage you but the Goat is nothing like a deuce to drive or ride in. There is very little seat adjustment and at 6' you're going to be squeezed in there pretty tight. My suggestion is just don't worry about a top. I left the top and windshield off mine and just drove with a hat and sunglasses.

Check a popular auction site. There's a guy on there selling a soft Gama Goat door. When you click on the description he states he has cab kits and all kind of parts. Check with him.
