Made a few runs to the dump lately
1 was 4000lbs of broken up concrete
1 was 4200lbs of shingles
1 was only 2300lbs of construction debris

Been looking at hydraulic dump trailers & other than the easy unload the m101A2 has been up to the task !

Well, not today, but yesterday, so I could carry Vietnam vets in today's parade - finished adding LMTV troop seats to my M1082.

Cheers

Installed new longer safety chains on my M101A1 so they actually reach the safety chain loops on hitch, Hauled a load of trash/debris to the landfill and then used it to haul the grill over to the inlaws for a July 4th cookout.

Was finally able to register the trailer to my name, as the previous owner finally got the paperwork ready.
Now to wait on the key for the safe. Am wondering what is inside. Even if there is nothing in it, it is handy to have a safe when camping.

Did some interior decorating in my Dutch ex-army trailer.
-Took the angle grinder to the 4 hooks welded onto the side, I hit my head on them at least 26 times..
-Removed a wooden beam on the floor, so my "carpet"could be installed. (old playing carpet for toy cars)
-Devised a simple locking mechanism for the cabinet when in transit.
-Relocated some pvc piping for storage.
-Installed a decorative LED string at the entrance for light at night to get inside.

Next things on my list:
-Testfitting the bunkbed/fieldbed, or what is it called.
-Install more LED lights
-Whatever I can think of.. :p

Yesterday my son and I took a 7 hour round trip ride to purchase 5 sets of bows for my 1953 xm105-e3 checker cab trailer, and hopefully today we can go to were I have it stored ,install the bows and put on the new canvas cover that I purchased off fleabay last week. (not an easy item the bows to find locally)

Take something to put down the middle that will support the tarp. They are flat and hold the rain water.
