Imagine having to tell the Sarge or your CO that you guessed wrong & destroyed a great truck on a low overpass.

That said, good luck on repairing it or converting it to what ever you want. I have a couple of pictures of a truck just like the damaged one on my work computer, but it is new & being transported on a lowboy trailer.

Well can confirm it is the one that hit the bridge in Ohio

Meanwhile in Denver a M1117 fell off a trailer! Parts!

Yeah 11.5 high truck on 3’ high trailer duh what was the driver thinking. Chassis likely has bent frame as well.
These as well as 1079s have to ride on drop deck RGN trailers.

He would have been fine in Texas where they even label bridges as 22ft 6in I guess for planes to fly under them.

1079s can ride on a step deck on dedicated routes as most main interstates you can be up to 15ft without a survey.

That driver went thru 75 in dayton and he's supposed to go around to 675

In Houston we have 29 haircut palaces with 14’ clearance on the interstates especially I-10. They get hit constantly.

well damn... they should have just taken it to my place few miles away to get rid of it.... no storage fee's ..... no fuss no muss.... just drop it off, lick their wounds and be done with it.
