4l80e Wiring Harness Question

Does anyone know where I can get the internal wiring harness that doesn't have the green piece inside? The female end on the outside already has the green piece but with my newer harness, the green piece is on the male end as well so I cannot connect the two.

Are you sure the green piece on the on your existing harness isn't from the old harness and broken and stuck to the wrong connector?

I've run into it before but not specifically with the connector you are asking about. Drove me crazy for a day until I determined there could be no other reason and that turned out to be the issue.

Yep, you're right, the whole piece of the connector was stuck in, thing was driving me insane lol

Pretty much how it was because it was broken lol

This a little off topic question but still on the trans, the bolts for the shifter linkage to the transmission, are those bolts bigger? Mines was completely missing the bolts, it seems like that explains why the whole linkage wasn't in place and the trans had no fluid
