What is Solenoid on top of the fuel pump 931A2

Without a picture of what your referring to , I would guess the fuel shut-off .

M931a2 Fuel cutoff solenoid

I'm not sure but I think the Fuel shut off solenoid might be bad on my M931a2 (8.3 motor). I tried to start truck today and it doesn't seem to be getting fuel, One tank was actually quite low on fuel so I thought maybe it didn't have enough and sucked air into the system. I took out air cleaner...

It actually says fuel transducer guessing some kind of pressure sender

What is the problem , leaking or no start ?

Won’t idle in gear below 800 rpm or it dies. The button on transfer case Is ok
