What do you do with an M332?

I see these ammo trailers come up for auction now & then. I would never want one, they're so heavy. But I wonder, what would a person do in the civiian world with one of these trailers?

It's not heavy. The M105 trailer is 2440 pounds empty. The M332 ammo trailer is 2800 pounds empty - not that much more. It tows like pulling a jeep behind you, you don't even know it's back there.

The up side to the M332 trailer, is that it is low to the ground. If you have a lot of heavy items you need to haul, like ammo (well, it is an ammo trailer), it is a lot easier to load it than load a M105 which is several feet off the ground. The loading ramp can be used to drive a lawn tractor or an ATV onto easily. The low center of gravity helps with towing a heavy load over rough ground. And, if you have a lot of rough, heavy object like bricks or firewood, the armored sides can take the beating and not dent up like the M105 body will.

I like the M332 better than the M105, just seems to me to be a more useful design for working around the farm.

You can drive a 4wheeler right into one.

OR...

You can paint it John Deere Green & tow it behind your tractor! ;)

I use mine for rocks and real heavy stuff. I second what Maddawg308 said.. A multifuel in a container fits perfect into one for moving around and in and out of the shop. Just pull the top cover and work on your motor or even test fire it . One hell of a trailer for the money and boy can they carry the weight. Dont forget the daisy chain option for parades creating a veteran chariot.

I really prefer my 332 to a 105. Lower deck for easier loading, higher sides, tailgate lowers for a ramp, they are designed to be pulled tandem, and I think they look cool. I got 2 for $165. One is for sale.

The higher sides make it safer for hauling kids in parades (fewer bodies are lost along the parade route and parenst are usually happier).

I plan to make a mock up of a howitzer for my M200 trailer and pull the combination behind the Deuce for parades. Should resemble a cannon and its caisson from the cavalry days.

They measure about 5'X6'

I like mine

Haul ammo, of course.rofl

If I could afford enough ammo to fill one up at todays prices I'd buy one.

Anyone have a picture of a full size 4 wheeler in one? I got mine for that and its too small stock to handle a grown mans 4 wheeler.

They are good for loading heavy things in the back like you guys say with the M105 being a little bit higher. Fire wood hauler is the beeter use I have heard of someone using it for. But the box is pretty small .:-D

Will it fit if you leave the tailgate down? That would give you at least another foot.

I have two mint M332s in a garage. I basically visit them a couple times a month. I probably should sell one, but I am too lazy to advertise it and really would rather just enjoy looking at them than get a few hundred bucks.
