I just found a dry lake bed with a couple of ponds left today about 5 miles from my place here in High Springs. There are houses with boat docks going out to nothing surrounding it. There is also a public park that backs up to it and gives access to all the FWD trails snaking through it. Probably enough room to get a hundred deuces playing around in it comfortably. Lots of mud and sand with some dunes and brush here and there. I took one of my M1009s out and played around until dark today. Got it stuck twice in sugar sand and pulled right out with 4WD, although the second time i had to use low-range. Anyway, there are also Blue, Ginnie, Poe, and Ichatucknee Springs nearby if we get bored and want to go swimming. If anyone is interested, let me know. I also have 10 acres here where we can park some vehicles if needed, but out at the lakebed there should be plenty of room. There is also a covered picnic are with grills and stuff. I'll try and get some pics of the area ASAP, because, as we all know...

the baby gator was over to the side. besides in florida every pond has or should have a gator like mine. He is the coolest pet i have. little over 3 foot and eats all the rabbits:)

If you have never been to Richloam, some of us can state first-hand that the gators are not only in the ponds out there but in the mud holes on the trails as well :???:!!

That's ok, my family has been trapping gators for the state for 15 years now, and I've never met a gator I did not like. Only problem is, Gucci has decided to buy hides only from Louisiana now, and has forced many of the trappers to give up thier livelyhood.

What are you planning on riding in on this trip? Surely not the BMW; obviously not the Mog, and you are putting your health at risk riding in my pinz if memory serves me; most of all I just saw your buddy's (James I think) 2.5 ton for sale on Craigslist. He is going to replace it with something just as military... right?:lol:
