As a member of both US Air Force and the US Army units involved in Search and Rescue as well as one of Minnesota’s Search and Rescue Teams, I have been actively involved in disaster response since June 1972. I have worked with F.E.M.A. as a volunteer and a member of the Marion County Search and Rescue Task Force. I am experienced in, and comfortable with the special circumstances and stress’s associated with being a member of a mobile response unit.
As a member of the US Military's Winter Operations Instructor Cadre, Owner of the Bold Eagle Outdoor Team, and now manager of ABN Army Surplus Corp I have over 40 years experience as an instructor personnel manager and team leader. My instruction credits include small class room, field, and large seminar formats including some of the nation’s premier event center programs.
As a member of the Federal Emergency Management Agencies disaster response team as a contractor through Partnership for Response and Recovery, I have over 5100 initial inspections, an active profile of QC inspections, and team leader experience. I have been responding to disaster situations as an IHP member since 2004.
On a day to day basis I work with Veterans throughout the nation in my capacity as manager of ABN Army Surplus Corp, a retail outdoor, prepper and professional supply store since 1994.
