I your affraid about the bearings, than disconnect the fuel pump wire and the glow plug connector. Then turn the engine over.
The engine will only driven by the starter. No load on the bearings cause no ignition in the zylinders.
So you can start with no fear after a oelchange or if you dont...
This confirms my suspicions. Because when the engine is switched off, there is no pressure and therefore the clutch is not opened. This is also the cause of the hissing noise that some people describe when the fan clutch is open while the engine is running.
So I would guess the cadilac valve...
The brake switch is the only switch on the 3-speed, but the 4-speed has two. And it is a nightmare to bring this two bitches together.
Either your gearbox is told that you are braking but the rear lights are not, or vice versa. This is firstly due to the very short pedal travel and secondly to...
Uhh, that shakes the fillings out of your teeth!
Air in the system... dont think so. The system bleeds it selfe very quickly.
I suspect a bad injector or bad timing.
Quastion. How is it starts? Quick as usual or does it struggle?
I can't say anything about the side indicator lamps.
But I had the same problem with the HighBeam indicator. I swapped the wiring on the lamps themselves. So I connected one lamp correctly and swapped the high and low beams on the other.
No way!
And especially not the way it was done right here. Nothing is mitred, nothing is mortise-and-tenoned. You can do it as a mockup, but not as a final version. No way! That makes my skin crawl!
But maybe people are a bit more tolerant in this aspect with regard to US house building style ;-)
first of all... the frame (hopefully) looks like a mock-up. You can't leave it like that. I'm not a carpenter, but even as a metalworker I wouldn't want to weld these gaps. Rather send the trainee back to do the work again.
Secondly, you never stay thirsty in a HMMWV... The wood doesn't want...
