Also not hijacking unrelated threads would be advisable if you want anyone that knows or cares to see your question.....
"LoneTree" is spot on......, just over in the corner of the vacant lot OTF'n. 🤷♂️
Back up a minute - what is your issue exactly? The idler and tensioner pulleys don't get replaced - you replace the bearings in them. And when asking VERY loosely related questions it's best to just start your own thread.
DO NOT DRIVE THAT TRUCK with a 3126 ECM. That engine is likely to be damaged by doing that...... if it even drives which I doubt. I suspect it will be in severe limp mode. Wrong programming for the C7 HEUI system. Different pump, different injectors, different boost control system, etc. C7's...
The gasket is for weapons systems. It's never used on the sheet metal cover. The cover uses one strip of adhesive neoprene foam, and sikaflex. The gasket really is not going. To be helpful here. It's just adding two additional surfaces that need to be sealed and that's just extra points of...
Put the springs on the shoes, hook one shoe on the backing plate and then use the other shoe to pull the spring like it's a T handle. A pry-bar for additional leverage on the shoe is useful.
That's not stock - someone tried. Stock it is just foam tape and sikaflex around the perimeter so it's easy to peel it off for a weapons system.
My HIMARS hatch is sealed VERY well since it's designed for the cab to be pressurized above atmospheric. It uses two rows of foam tape and then an...

Replace the canister diaphragms if you haven't...
Dow 111 is amazing stuff and you should have a tube anyway. But it's not right for this application. This is what I landed on and have used on all my tire installs with zero issues:

Yeah it's not a dead blow. It's steel. It's stuck on the face of the hub and when you need heavy metal to MOVE - dead blow isn't the answer unless it's one of the heavy brass head ones.... I have a Snap-On one like that. But still - drilling hammer. You want to smack the drum outward on the back...
Not sure on the A0's WTEC-II, but on the 3126 and C7 trucks, the ECM value for PPM (pulses per mile) is 62,618 (or 31.309 with ECO hubs).
It seems..... odd to me that the older truck would have a higher PPM number unless it's looking at a different sensor/trigger wheel or it's being adulterated...
