Elasticity and elongation of similar match would be preferable. I am not sure Liquid nails or Loctite would stand up to all the flexing and might introduce failure over time. Not in stock per say; but delivery early September. There's Sikaflex521...
Just to close this thread.... when making a video: I accidentally closed the door and when I tried the cylinder; It absolutely Locked up solid as steel.
Apparently that was all it took. I had the door open when "Testing" the cylinders.
My ignorance was the enemy here. All good now.

I think a secondary fuel guage would be essential. An outdoor temperature guage would be good to have too. If you could do indoor/outdoor/EGT/Motor temp even better.

Anybody else have the problem on your A1R; if you lock the door and work the handle the mechanism will slip and unlock? I can post a video I guess, but it doesn't stay up and block the handle, it slides down over time and thus can be defeated. Not sure if the parts are worn or if there is...
