Well, I ended up trying to 3D print an adapter and it was a failure. I printed out five different prototypes before getting the sizing “right” for the switch and the dash panel opening. The issue for me ended up being that the temp gauge that I had was too close in size to the dash opening so...
It’s been a while, but as I recollect the bottom, two bolts weren’t too tough to get tightened. However, the third bolt that is on the back top of the flange required a bunch of extensions and angle drivers, and as I recall, I felt like I was only getting 6° or 7° of movement every time I...
Good to know. I do (did) like having the detent to keep the door from closing when parked on an incline. If I could buy a used one for a reasonable price - I’d go that route.
@wheelspinner - I am in need of the driver side metal door stop (the one that is at the bottom of the door). I'd be happy to buy one off of your smashed A1 cab if it is still on there. I've pasted a picture below of mine (the spring steel broke at the detent).

My experience so far has been:
Cold compacted snow: Good (and better when aired down)
Deep uncompacted snow: Bad - my truck digs holes really quickly; if it is much past he differential depth wise - I stay away
Shallow uncompacted snow: Good - I’ve found about 2 1/2’ is about as deep as I can...
There is probably 200lbs of ice on the undercarriage/superstructure of my truck. I’ve parked it in the garage which is marginally above freezing so it will melt off over the coming several days but I’m heading home so will just have to deal with it next time I come up - I expect that the brake...
