My previous nom de plume is Mobilzed Medic. Now known as JeePa. Longtime military history buff and special interest in military medicine, with
vehicle interests in 1/4 Willys series and 3/4 ton M Dodge series.
Currently restoring1942 Willys MB Slat Grille and 1953 M43 ambulance.
I have parade ready M38A1 and M43 as well. An M100 trailer wandered into the motorpool one day, made itself at home and “spontaneously” accrued parts to do it’s restoration. Yes, so much to do and so little time.
I developed a living history display focused on the military medic and look forward to getting back out for public display this summer.
I do most of my mechanical and body work, but call upon skilled crafts in machining and welding to help at critical points. Yes, financial support of the many purveyors of parts goes along with the dreaded “ olive drab contagion”.
Always looking for guidance and listening for snippets of history from WW2, Korean and Vietnam eras But no matter when or where one has served your story is worth listening to. History lived is sancrosanct , especially when spoken by those who have taken the oath.
Ne’er forget. Highest regards, JeePa AKA Mobilized Medic
