Work mostly out of Port Hueneme Navy Base. Our lives revolve around our kids. Camping, fishing, traveling & road trips. I have ALWAYS wanted a military truck, just to play with. I just bought a 1997 LMTV M1078 through a county auction, got it for $5,050.00. The county had it labeled as a 2.5 ton utility vehicle on the pink slip. I could not believe the luck! Got it registered & license plates in under 15 minuets. I am betting there is only a handful of trucks registered, in screwed up, California. We hope to keep this truck for a long time. We have lots of retired military friends with kids. I can already see this being a huge extended family project. The dads are already reserving drive time slots.
