Always best to start lower if in doubt. Use a 10amp. I would be surprised it draws more than that.

Depends on the fan but I suspect 10amp or 15amp will work. Fan should state what it draws?

So for perspective, The USMC "newer" models that are coming out have not yet been released by the other branches, so I would think there is a lot in the pipeline still to come even with the ones diverted to Ukraine. YMMV.

Brass is "relatively" easier to remove than going back with steel or stainless if there is another problem down the road. A little heat, some penetrating oil, and a left hand twist extractor should make it a painless operation.... Teflon tape or preferably the liquid /paste sealer not only does...
