    MTVR Manuals

There is only one Maintenance “manual” and it covers all variants of the MTVR. While in Iraq, we tried to upload the CD’s to the MEF share drive so that units could download load them. Something in the programs did not allow it to work. Also, the newer EMS-NG does not work correctly all the...

    MTVR Manuals

All maintenance manuals for the MTVR are on laptops. The Marine Corps does not have any paper maintenance manuals. The only paper manual the Marine Corps uses for the MTVR is the operators manual.

ECV Humvee AC kit on a M1123/M998

Last time I worked on that style, I did not notice anything really different. Where I work, the big issue the get is from damaging the condenser/fans while training out in the desert…. We have about 125-150 HMMWV here, ECV and M-1123 variants. Most M-1123 variants do not have A/C.

ECV Humvee AC kit on a M1123/M998

The US Army now has a different A/C set up for the M-1151/1165/1167. They got rid of the condensers up in the rear wheel wells. They now install the condenser on the radiator. All other parts remain the same.

What have you done to your MTVR today?

So I checked out TM and that is the correct NSN (part number changed). But that is not the NIIN that we use to order them. we use NIIN 01-480-4000. I do not have a new one that I can check until tomorrow to verify. It could possibly be that there was NSN change, but since they update our...

Have you checked the bulbs in the composite lights, or is it the marker lights on the hood?

What have you done to your MTVR today?

You must be talking about the cam assembly then. Actually what specifically is the issue with the lights, left and right turn signal or hazards and brake lights?

What have you done to your MTVR today?

In regards to the rivnuts, those were for the first generation armored kits. They had the window, “L” shaped doors pieces, a turret gun shield and a turret back piece we called the Tea cup turret, armor panels for the cargo bed and a armored tailgate. The window was was the only part of the kit...
