To add my 2 cents:
The fabricator that worked on Hank's deuce (above) no longer does them. Also, they sold the drawings and the rights to someone else who may or may not in some undetermined time, in the future produce these. They're here on SS, but didn't have any sort of timeline when I...
This is gonna sound a little silly.
I'm planning on using a steel frame that would be bolted to the bed of my M35A2. My plan is to not remove the bed, build the steel frame inside the bed, install honeycomb panels for the outer skin. I'll have approximately a 3 inch gap from the outside lip...
Still wrangling with the stair/door design. Trying to come up with something that can be opened/deployed from both inside and out.
I don't know if this was always available, but the fold down/up stairs shown in post #19, while too short, now I've found you can buy the hinge for those stairs...

I've had my deuce for 8 years and have probably fixed/modified over 50 (this number...
Nope, no problems. This was an expensive and time consuming project. I don't recommend it unless you absolutely need to move away from military wheels/tires.
I moved my heater inside the rails, it seemed too close.
Front wheel.
I know OP found his solution, but I didn't see a few other options listed here. I've found a few places that supply these kits and they're usually very expensive, ie: $2k+/axle. However Boyce Equipment is offering kits at the lowest prices I've seen. I don't know about the quality though...
ERV = Energy Recovery Ventilator, HRV = Heat Recovery Ventilator, CERV = smart ERV that monitors for co2 buildup. ERV's handle moisture.
In short the way these work is to move air from inside at the same time air is pulled from outside. The streams don't meet but move through an exchange...
