    Injection pump leaking

So I’ve developed a leak from my injection pump on the bottom. It looks like it is coming from an Allen head bolt. Any idea if this can be fixed or will it need a rebuild. Looks like it sucks to take out.

    Heavy white smoke cold start

I would agree with you but the only weird thing is if I let it sit for awhile it still blows smoke. Like the 20 minutes and it is still just blowing a fog of smoke. Then the next day I’ll go out there and it will start and no smoke or anything. I’m not sure of the glow cycling on this thing. I...

    Heavy white smoke cold start

So a follow up/further narrowing down the smoke issue. I replaced my lift pump due to it leaking. I thought it was letting air into the system somehow and causing the white smoke. So what I have noticed is a majority of cold starts I get heavy white smoke with the engine stumbling. The truck...

    6.5 Turbo no boost

Is there any straight pipes sold out there to eliminate the catalytic converter? Or any easy way that people have removed them?

    6.5 Turbo no boost

Ok I got back at it today. Took my driver side flexible exhaust pipe off going to turbo. I then took the intake pipe off. I stuck a shop vac on the exhaust side and blew air in the turbo. I used my bore scope and confirmed the turbine was spinning. I couldn’t get my hand in there to feel the...

    6.5 Turbo no boost

I’ll take the pipe off from the air cleaner to the turbo, put my borsecope down there and blow some air in there to see if it moves. I don’t think I can get my hand in there to feel movement. And taking the 3 bolts holding that extra piece on is another can of worms. I’m not trying to snap bolts...

    6.5 Turbo no boost

That’s promising. Hopfully it’s just my exhaust leakage

    6.5 Turbo no boost

Probably the easiest way to see if it spins is on the intake manifold side. Should it spin really easy with no resistance?

    6.5 Turbo no boost

So to put all my turbo problems out there. -Newly installed boost gauge appears to only read vacuum. Also checked flow by blowing into it by mouth. -Newly made adjustable waste gate was adjusted. No difference. - -While installing boost gauge noticed a black oily residue in intake manifold just...

    6.5 Turbo no boost

I can see the spot it on the pipe where it is leaking. I put a hose clamp on it but it didn’t help much. So I need 2 new v band clamps due to them falling apart. Also the cast iron on the exhaust manifold and turbo are corroded. I’ll need to use some gasket maker.

So it leaks around the joint circled in the picture.
