I’m waiting at the AC shop now. How long should it take to add the refrigerant? The Tech said he can’t get the compressor to run, I told them they have to jump it. I left some of the TMs printed out in the truck for them, but they won’t let me back in the shop

Somewheres on this site someone replaced the electric gizmoe with the manual valve and cable from the earlier systems. I cant find that thread right now, but thats what I hope to do.

So the cheaper Amazon valve did not work? I assume an OEM one would have? And your just ended up with a ball valve from Lowes or something? Trying to get clarification as I plan to upgrade to this style so I can control the amount of AC better than just Low or High

I just called ComTac about their REV brake pads and rotors. Dude on the phone said they are not cleared to sell these pads/rotors to the US armed forces, but they do sell to other countries who use US made equipment (Humvees) and also sell to the Defense Industry. IDK if that helps anyone.

Are they oem lights or aftermarket? I had aftermarket lights go bad in about 6 months and it fried my 3 lever switch. Bought OEM lights and a new switch and it worked.

I was planning to remove the hood, but can I just hinge the oil cooler out of the way? I’m also curious how you’d do it without removing anything? From underneath maybe?

Did you completely drain all the oils?

I need to replace the fan clutch on my truck. This is a REV model with the extended snout and geared fan drive, so it is different than most. I need to remove the radiator to get to the fan clutch., and I need to remove the Oil cooler to get to the radiator. The Oil cooler does engine Oil...

I’ve loved my humvee project since buying it two years ago. I want to get another one, a REV non-runner, as a bigger project. I’m just wondering how long I can wait before the auctions come to an end?

What prices should one budget when shipping a truck from auction? I paid 1800 a few years ago, but that was a running truck and going through a big online shipping company. I’ve been shopping the auctions and should know what to expect for shipping costs. I’m 7hours from the Georgia location...
