Ok, took starter solenoid from the battery compartment out of the system and guess what... Started right up. I guess the hot side was burnt up and wouldn't let the voltage go through. Thanks for the help
Yeah I should've been more clear about the "box." As I have been talking with you about this I was considering wiring up the batteries without the solenoid in the system and see if that works. Because if there is absolutely no power after the solenoid probably means something is funky in the...
The click happens in the box after I turn the key on the switch and then nothing after that click from the box. No power to anything and no engine turning over. It has been a few weeks for me to have started it. I have been trying to diagnose by myself, but first time diesel and M998, so not...
Switch is basically me putting a key in like an igntion and turning it to the on position and then when done turning it back off and taking key out. After I turn it on a click should be heard in the battery compartment, but when I go to start it it won't start like its not getting the rest of...
If i swap out my box, either PCB or EESS, do I need to change the glow plugs? I left my ignition kill switch on by accident and now rig won't start. Brand new batteries and still nothing.....
Is there a way to bypass the neutral safety switch because I recently left my ignition kill switch on and killed the batteries. After I changed batteries nothing happens. The solenoid in battery compartment clicks, but when I hit rocker switch to start nothing happens. No lights no nothing.
It is in neutral with parking brake engaged because I have a 3 speed with no park. I think it may be just a battery issue because it was completely dead when I took it to autozone to get it fully charged. The acid in it may be too low to hold a charge for too long. I do keep it on a trickle...
Ok, I got a keyed ignition switch like yours installed and had left it on overnight by accident and now my rig wont start. I have tried everything from batteries to slaving in another PCB/GPC setup. What am I missing because I have a solenoid just like yours?
I'm at work right now, so I can't take a picture. My battery is wired in series with the 2 negatives jumpered together and the positives on the outside. It probably is the simplest things since this is my first diesel/M998 engine....
Stupid question, but are there certain part #s of PCB/GPC and EESS/TSU that work well together or do I just need a PCB/GPC 1ea or EESS/TSU 1ea? For instance I can't put a PCB with a TSU or the other way around...
I unfortunately do not know how the company, Plan B Supply, wired the switch. It looks like it goes from the switch and then to the coil under the passenger side seat. It says coil on it so thats why I mentioned the coil. I would not recommend that company to anyone. It was convenient when I was...
Ok, I am an idiot and left my ignition kill switch on and now my m998 wont start. I charged my batteries fully and now the ignition coil in the battery box sounds like it clicks on when I turn the kill switch on, but engine won't even start to turn over like I blew a fuse or something more...
