here's what my jeep looks like with the new vehicle markings. A coworker of mine has a side business that does lettering and graphics for fleet vehicles, so it's gonna cost me lunch next time we go out.
Here's a start for my militarized CJ3B, unfortunately it's not a M606 nor will it ever be one, just close enough for me.
Still working on painting and welding the windshield frame.
Sad day for many of us who visited. I recall all the great vehicles there, as a kid my Dad was stationed at Carswell AFB there in Foat Wurth, and we visited the museum several times. :cry:

Looking to replace my lens in my tail lights, anyone know of a supplier of the internal parts, don't want to have to buy new lens assy. ANyone made any using new plastic trailer light lens?
I just picked up an axle set from searching the local jeep forum for sale section, $75 for drums, backing plates from a "narrow track" '74 Cj5 that someone had removed from their Dana 30 axle to upgrade to discs.
Check craigslist in your area for "dana 30 drum brakes" I picked up a complete...
I upgraded to 11" brakes on my M606 just for piece of mind and the idiot factor. They look very similiar to the factory brakes and only an MV expert could tell the difference (But they aren't going to pay for my insurance or hospital bills- so who cares). The 11" backing plates are what are...
The roller I used had a phenolic tube and did not dissolve or leave any foam in the paint. Not a Lowes or HD roller.
