I would love to have a system, but am not sure yet. As of right now I would have to take my trailer to work and use the forklift to take it off the truck and back onto the trailer.
Well I know have (3) S-280 enclosures. I found a nicer one I will be using that is prewired. The box above will be for sale and is still on the trailer if you're interested, PM me. I will post pictures of the new box later.
Thanks for posting that but I didn't see anything in there regarding removing the panels. I did however notice I'm missing the inside handle and bars to make it a 3-point latch. Currently it's just a 1 point contact latch.
So I have a ton of extra panels I could use to redo the inside. My question is what's the best way to remove the current wall paneling. I wasn't sure how it was attached to the aluminum braces. I want to make sure all the holes are patched before I work on the interior.

I know exactly what you mean. When I pulled out from behind the semi to try and slingshot, I lost all momentum. Not much you can do unless you have better aerodynamics on top of the roof to help direct the wind over the shelter once its mounted.
That is some great info Driller! The reason for wanting a S-280 shelter on top of my bed is that I could take it off and still use the bed when needing to haul stuff and if I trailer mount it I like the idea of leaving it somewhere when camping.
