It appears to be a Oskosh truck, with a Garwood crane, not like the C2 wrecker, but more as a Ward Lafrance wrecker..

I had no idea that so many federal/reo C2 were built (and used in United States after WW2), as they looked to me as a rare truck in the US and Europe (England/France/Belgium/Netherlands), as in the military vehicles restorations also.

Just find a pic of this rare truck, it looks to have been shot in 2010... Maybe someone in the US get it and save it!

Just a updat, it seems that one of the U-70/90 cab type wrecker survived, despite a rusted state...! If it was a prototype, it still exists (at least in 2010)!
Restored, it would be a fantastic unusual display truck!

About the crane, its a 10 Ton Garwood Lifitng System with a 180 degree field of operation.
This system was installed on a variety of chassis for used by the US Navy and Us Air Corps, including the Sterling DDS 235, HC 530, M1 A1s and Autocar...
