    I paid approx $1.75/ mile 9 months ago for an M123 hauled from San Diego, CA to St. Louis, MO. Shop around, call a few freight brokers and have them find a truck with a step-deck trailer that's headed your way. Don't be afraid to tell them that you need a better price. Andy
