Pointless question: Why does Ford seem to have to be the odd man out on lug spacing? GM and Dodge have the same spacing on the 8 lug hubs but Ford is 5-6mm larger I think.
That really is looking great. I may go a similar direction for a RTT above the stock ribs and cover on my M101A2. Bolt on is definatly the way to go though. As soon as I welded something like that on I would fine 14 reasons I should have bolted.
The corner guards are a great idea and I am...
It is a really nice combo jackstand/bottle jack. Works great with everything but the front end of my truck. It just does not have enough umph to get it off the ground. That Duramax engine really is heavy. I want to try and fabricate something with a 6-8 ton jack and the 6 ton Torin stands I...
Since it is clear to me that I am not going to get any real work done this morning I decided to have fun and see how the wheels/tires from my truck would look. I test fitted my spare. I could not bolt it on but here is an idea of what can be.
Now I need to clean the paint from the lug bolts...

It only dropped my 65mph highway gas mileage by about 2 down...
I wonder why you like that particular build...
I am going a similar route on my M101A2 to what you and TexasFJ did, matching wheels and tires to my truck. 2004.5 2500HD with LT285/75-17 Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac. Funny thing is each wheel and tire set is about the same price as what I paid...
Picked this up last Thursday along with a rebuilt in the crate Onan Diesel off an MEP-003A.
I'm hoping this weekend to get a bunch of pre-cleanup pictures taken. I likely wont get much real work done on it until late June at the earliest.
Here is the one picture I have take of it so far...
I got lucky on mine as it has a tarp in I'd rate a 9/10 condition. The trailer overall is near perfect with some of the nipples still on the tires and working brakes. It just looks a bit ratty because 3 of the 17 layers of paint are peeling off. Oh, one of the light assemblies is cracked but...
