Hi guys,
I recently built some ramps to put my Cherokee in the bed of my M35a2.
Thought Id share the specs, and a few pictures.
The ramps are ladder style, with 2x3x.120 tube on the sides, and the "rungs" being built out of 3x3x.125 angle iron.
The top lip is 3x6x3/8" angle iron, with two...
Looks mint, Ive been waiting to see these pics! haha. I'm curious about specifically what those seats are out of. I did some searching but couldn't find exactly what yours look to be.
again, very nice build!
perhaps, but it shouldn't be too bad with most loads Id be using it for. Like small 1 1/4 pipe rails or similar. What ever load I put on it would flex, but would be much more secure / less flex than no front rack at all.
Thanks guys.
Army deuce, one thing I will probably do in the future is run another pipe parallel under the existing one, space it about 2" lower, then weld in some flat bars to help the top pipe carry the load better. I've built truck racks for pickups out of 1 1/2 SCH 40 that contractors have...
Hi all,
Been Creeping on this site for awhile before I bought my M35a2. Many thanks to this community for providing great info!
I thought Id share with everyone my idea for removable racks for the deuce. I own a small Welding/Fab shop and use the deuce as my welding rig. I've just started out...
Interesting point. There are many high end restaurants in town that Id feel comfortable asking management about their WVO. good food for thought. That and beyond Biodiesel's link have my head spinning, haha.
Thanks
Thanks very much for the input guys. Gonna keep reading up on this. I love the idea. My sources for WMO are only going to grow, and the more I've read, the more a centrifuge seems to be the best cost effective way and only sure way to clean.
Thanks again!
I was worried about that, the more I hunted around the more I seemed to just drive my truck to the station, and spend my time and money on other projects. I think I may just stick to diesel for now. Would you recommend changing all my filters to the JATONKA spin on's? Ive already done the oil...
