none of our older chevy pickups ever had any mounts underneath neither did my cucv the spares have always been in the box or mounted to the grill guard
I am finishing up doing similar i had a 350 hooked to a sm465 the 350 bolted right up to the th400 all we changed was bought 350 motor mounts and everything wnet together just cant get it to run lacks fuel dont know if its something in carb or if its the fuel lines or something
that is convincing could the Detroit 4-53 be adapted to a turbo 400 and how hard is it to get that to fit into the space because it looks pretty crowded under the hood and if i had the money and time i would definetly put that in my cucv
I dont have much money to spend on it right now but i think i know someone i might be able to get A DT360 from thats in a old bus and i want to try and keep the electric stuff to a minimum
I have a M1008 and i am in progress of putting a 350 in it but would think it would be nice to have a diesel and would like a DT360 and am wondering what all would need to be changed to make the DT360 fit and mount up to everything right is there a adapter plate to make it bolt up to a turbo 400
i think me and some friends are gonna swap in the 350 but are wondering what needs to be done with the wiring and what all we will need to get it to bolt up
yes it was running pretty good had couple small oil leaks is all but was running fine it is a 1985 m1008 the 350 is in a 79 chevy half ton and i am wondering what it would cost to change over the parts needed to put the 350 into the M1008 still in high school so dont have much money so am...
I have a m1008 and we believe it to be the rear main bearing out i have a 350 gas that runs and dont know what would be easiest would like to keep it a diesel and want to know what would be cheapest and easiest to do
Replacing the shocks probably would help it at least i had a shock break off in the back and it did the same thing anytime it would start spinning it would hop new shocks now and doesnt hop at all
I got a m1008 and in North Dakota If you got a block heater they start fine Mine started at 40 below when it was plugged in just took little longer to start and no need to convert to a 12volt system
