    Muddobber

TNriverjet, I just noticed that you are in Nashville. I am in Ashland City. I have a M151A1 and just picked up a M925A1 and a M1061A1 trailer. I plan on doing some parades and just having some fun with the vehicles. We may have to get together sometime.

Need M939 series front axle u bolts

Thanks Dave, Sounds like what I need. I will call tomorrow. I like the 24 volt cab fans too. I may need two of those as well. Are the fans effective? I see where a few of the guys on this forum have installed them in their vehicles.

Need M939 series front axle u bolts

Glad to know you guys. I am from West Nashville, in the nations and I also have a place on the Tennessee River. I now live thirty miles west of Nashville in Ashland City. We had our first annual Veterans Day parade this past Veterans Day in 2016. I enjoy that kind of stuff and I am gearing up...

    new trailer

The deed is done and the trailer sits safely in my driveway. Would I feel safe in doing it again? Yes, as there is also a certain amount of risk involved in taking a thirty year old 5 ton on a 700 mile trip to drag the trailer back.

    new trailer

I will pull the trailer with the 5 ton. I just rigged the F-250 to make the trip to Indiana to get the new trailer. My F-250 did not struggle with the trailer at all in the 350 mile trip back. Sixty MPH seemed to be the towing sweet spot. The truck a 1989 model that I bought new is the 7.3...

Need M939 series front axle u bolts

I am familiar with Nashville Spring. I will give them a call tomorrow morning. I have new halogen headlights ordered from Those Military Guys as I have one burned out. Other than that all the old gal needs is a new either button on the dash, or that one repaired, seems like maybe a spring broken...

I bought a 1061A1 flat bed trailer. Got it through Iron Planet and picked it up in Indiana and braught it back to Tennessee. I am about 40 miles N/W of Nashville in Ashland City. I fabricated a hitch to pull the trailer home behind my F250 HD. It is a 1989 model 4x4 Diesel. I bought it new and...

Need M939 series front axle u bolts

We have a spring company locally, I will try them if I can't find them off the shelf. I also bought the M1061A1 trailer. I plan on loading my M151A1 jeep on the trailer behind the 5 ton for parades. I will be needing a set of ramps. I may end up fabricating the ramps.

Need M939 series front axle u bolts

I just bought a M925A1. It has two broken U bolts that hold the front axle to the spring assembly. They are about 1" diameter x about 16-17 inches long. It is not urgent but they need to be replaced. I am hoping to find new u bolts but could settle for good used with nuts. I think they were...
