Hi Guys,
Thought I would try to see if anyone has a dead wiper motor around they would be able to sell me the arm off of? I cannot find a part # for the arm alone, it's the small one that bolts onto the wiper motor with the double balls
Willing to buy and pay shipping
thanks!
Chris
No - haven't messed with the pads on either end yet, there looks to be better than half a pad left. Like I said I jacked up each end of the truck and free spun the wheels to make sure there was nothing dragging.
my other Hmmwv's will want to crawl if you put them in Drive with the brake off...
Jacked up one end at a time and free spun the wheels to ensure the brakes weren't dragging. Should have released any windup.
This isn't my first HMMWV - Just the first one I can't figure out....
Thanks for the suggestion though, keep them comming. I'll figure it out sooner or later.
Chris
Hi Guys,
Need some input on a problem I'm having with my '95 M998, 6.5 w/3L80e Trans.
Shifting into drive with the t-case in H, the truck acts like the E brake is on, takes a lot of pedal to get it to move. Jacked up the front and rears to see if the brakes were dragging, all wheels spin...
Borrowed a compression tester from a buddy and did a compression test. #2 cylinder is dead.
Pulled the valve cover off the drivers side and one of the bolts that holds the rocker arm assembly was broken. Pushrods from #1 and #2 cylinder intake valves ARE MISSING....
Pulled the head and...
Fan's fine, Motor mounts are OK. Engine does not just vibrate, it runs rough as well. It's like it's missing on one or more cylinders. Other than injectors what can cause this? I've now swapped the known good injectors into the drivers side and there is no change.

Hi guys,
I bought a 1992 M998 with the 6.2 out of Barstow for a buddy. Truck had a bad water pump on it, we swapped that out and got it running. It also needed one glow plug that we changed.
At idle the motor shakes badly, like it's "missing" on one or two cylinders. Cracked open 1 injector...
Hi guys,
I'm in the final stages of restoration of a Ferret MkII/III With the turret. I want some sand channels for the front. Anybody got some that could measure them for me? I just need the profile size "the W" dimensions and the length. I can figure out all the hole locations from pics...
No noticeable air leaks if I pressurize the truck with a glad hand. Without diving into the TM's is the unloader valve a PITA? I assume it's part of the compressor top end correct?
Another Military truck guy I know told me to put a bunch of air tool oil into the Emergency side and pressurize...
Hi Guys,
Did a search here and didn't find much to help me.
My 923A2 was running perfect, Took it to Tuscan for a pickup at DM and the air pressure dropped below 60, Put it in park and rev'd the engine and it would not build air, it didn't drop but wouldn't go up, hung right at about 60 PSI...
I have a Mk16 (semi trailer) winch controller that works, I need a joystick control to find the values of the potentiometer in the stick. They are a proportional control (I believe) so the further you push the stick the more it opens the valve.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong because a...
Jeff, It would be great if you can help out.
what wireless system did you convert to - what did it run? Hard to justify $$$ for me on this thing as it is just a toy.

Hi Guys,
Anyone got a remote for the crane on the MK15A1 Wrecker or MK17A1 trailer cranes?
I need to know what the max resistance of the control sticks are - they are linear potentiometer joysticks for proportional control. I need someone to measure one for me so I can build a controller for...
Hi guys.
Looking for a parts breakdown for the high back seats. Looking for new bottom cushion covers and the "c" clip rings that hold the covers in place.
(not a std hog ring) -the seat pn# is 12446712-3 and is in the second parts manual but I can't find a further breakdown from there
Any...
