My photos of Haspin 061309, mostly Steel Soldiers Rally.
Glad to have been there to see the coolest trucks and equipment there is anywhere and have met some real nice people.

Oh, I would double check route that Oilcan. We have guys that come in all the time from the I70 corridor and they come down from the north every time. I think the route is I70 to Indiana 1. I've not done it, but with a little time today I could get someone on the phone who has.
I have been going to Haspin for a long time. I really like it because of the diverse terrain, and at 950 acres, there are endless combinations of trails. But, for those who have never been there, I do want to point out that there are local low-lifes who go into Haspin every weekend to steal...
Brookville and Metamora both have diesel stations with reasonable access. I think the little station in Laurel has diesel, but has no room to maneuver. I find the best route to be I-74 to US 52 to Indiana 121. Best station is on the south side of Brookville just as you come into town.
PS, don't...

Being just a spectator, I'm reluctant to offer opinions here, but I think if you guys would decide where you want to camp, Pete might reserve it for you by taping it off. Locating your camp site on Google Earth map would also help if someone has to call him. You could also send out a scout to...
Why sure I am Oilcan. Nice to see you again. We were discussing this magnificent event over there on Jeep Forum. I'm rounding up all my Jeep guys and a couple of Mogs to come over to Haspin and be witness to the military invasion.
Yea, and when I figure out how to put up a photo, I'll post one.
Hehe. and thanks for the heads up in your sig, I'll read those instructions before jumping out of the plane. In my defense, I wanted to put the maps up, but breakfast was calling. And, I don't miss breakfast.
Speaking of which...
Should I post maps for Haspin?
Directions to Haspin
Take I-74 to the Brookville US52 Exit. Goes East on 52 through Brookvile and Metamora and just a mile or two west of Metamora turn north on Indiana 121. 5 miles to Laurel, turn right in the middle of town, go across the bridge and the...
