Did you check the wait light circuit.....and bulb

Auto parts store or Tract-her Supply or the different tool trucks.......I believe it's called a cannon plug tool.......The one I use is kinda like that but it has a hook on the very end......there are other's that you use a socket wrench extention on it like a sink drain tool in plumbing......

Ok.......my quest would be to disconnect the batteries, remove the box and open it up to see if you could find the obvious.....True you can't see some components that are kaput..... I would also check the trouble shoot section of the TMs maybe so help
