I buy most all my parts from Memphis Equipment. They have everything & their shipping is fast.

    5 ton master cylinder question

It's obviously a fluid pressure operated brake light switch. Unless there is one hooked up somewhere else, you have no brake lights!

Deuce not wanting to back up

Sounds to me like your trans was partially stuck in 2 gears. Something's hanging up or worn. As long as you know what to do to get it moving, it may not be a big deal. I've driven trucks with that same problem for years.

    Old 331 gas deuces?(M108)

Our '52 gasser is a great old truck, for a 57 year old truck. But it's still a 57 year old truck. Definitely not something I would drive regularly or very far. Everything in it is just.......old. That being said, I would probably buy that truck in a heartbeat. As long as you know how to work...

    winch installed

Looks great, recon. I've had all the components to install mine for 2 or 3 years, but can't seem to find the time.

    oil pressure gauge

Green_gator You're probably right about it being easier to get at the oil sending unit by removing the forward trans tunnel cover. Could get better leverage too. I had the air filter out, as I was working on my under dash heater. And I really didn't expect it to be so tight!

    oil pressure gauge

Sending unit is on the passenger side, towards the rear of the engine. I couldn't read the pressure rating with it installed, so I removed the air filter bowl to get to it. Mine was very tight. Good luck!

    Deuce removeable hitch

Sloppy design, poor construction! I think you should just give up & give it to me at the Kokomo Reunion. Eric

    Log out frustration

FWIW- I used to have the same problem. The company IT guy downloaded something called "trayping" & cured the problem. I guess it somehow keeps the site "open". That's all I know about it. Good luck!

Guess what it is? It's off a "Deuce"

I will guess there is a small electrical plug-in to the upper right of the passenger side headlight too. My first Deuce had the "arctic" setup. I know what it is.

Need cab heat for drive home

Picked up my 1st Deuce in NW Minnesota. Drove 960 miles with temps from 10 to 25 degrees F. The absolutely MOST important thing is to plug the holes. Duct tape & paper towels shoved into gaps. You do get a fair amount of heat from the engine, but the Big Buddy heater works really well. You may...

Indiana MVPA Rally and Swap Meet_Sept 2010

Too bad. Same weekend as the 28th Annual VietNam Veterans Reunion in Kokomo. Me & my trucks will be there. These trucks may live forever, but my veteran buddies won't.

Looking for Alcohol Evaporator Kit for M35A2

Having just experienced a frozen compressor, I think the cheap & simple evaporator is a great idea. My own fault. I started the engine without clearing away the snow covering the mushroom. After about 10 seconds the compressor stopped turning. Frozen. Got it into my shop & warmed it up...

    Where overhauled?

Two of my Deuces have rebuild tags on the engines. Can anyone tell me where "TEAD" and either "ESOK" or "FSOK" (hard to read)are? Thanks, Eric
