Hello SS,
I have seen pictures of additional lights mounted over the front marker lights on 2.5 & 5 ton trucks, but they all appear to be facing the rear, why and what are the lights for?
Sorry Miltrucks for hi-jacking one of your picures.
Thanks, Karl
Hello SS,
Which TM lists the wiring harness numbers for the M809 trucks? Need to identify the black out drive wires for the front and rear lights.
Thanks
Hello SS,
I'm looking for one or two of the early air wiper motors, these are the metal body type found on the early 50s / 60s M35 & M211 vehicles. Old take offs are fine, anyone have an extras?
Please PM me with what you have and price.
Thanks Karl

Hello SS,
What are your general thoughts about some of the engine stop leak additives out there?
The rear crank seal on the GMC 302 is leaking and I have never used any of this stuff, any good or will it cause harm?
While replacing the transmission in the GMC the last time figured I would...
Dump truck
Hey Mike,
The M215 is still here, every now and then I'm tempted to sell it. I have owned the dump for 6+ years, that is a record for me! If I count the time and effort that does into these trucks, I loose my shirt every time. The effort is more fun than the finished product.
Karl
This is the fourth time I've done this, get a deuce just the way I like it and end up selling it. This one has been in my shop since April of this year under going a rebuild, a freind stops over and ends up talking me into selling it. Luckily it's staying local, only about 15 miles away, first...
Steering box
I replaced the steering box on our M35A2 without moving the engine per MV mag #116. Removed the column and four frame mounting bolts allowing the box position to be adjusted to get all the cover bolts out. Removed the fuel line from the bottom of the injector pump also.
Hope this...
Hello SS,
Anyone have a spare 24v air horn solenoid they would like to part with? NOS or good take off is OK, please send price with shipping. Prefer to pay with Paypal.
Thanks, Karl
Loader use
Rizzo,
For me the big advantage is using the loader for clearing land. It is much easier to take down trees and brush, putting it in to piles for burning. Unlike a dozer you can keep the dirt in your piles to a minimum. You can dig, excavate and load. the 4-in-1 bucket also allows...
Fun or Terror?
The M105 has been in the back of the 5 ton for two weeks since picked up at Chambersburg, time to come out.
Our little Case track loader is my favorite power tool, best money spent so far.
