I would think that the Mule would be okay from staging to the racetrack, and back. You might want to carry a helmet, just in case a leo does enforce the helmet law. It is a shame we don't have a wrecker with us- we could just sling the mule into the back of a deuce or five ton.......

Butch, Can you send us a map to the staging area? The trip into the racetrack will be easy, just as long as the one in front knows where they are going, the rest can follow like elephants. I am still trying to decide whether to show up Saturday afternoon, or early on Sunday. I would bet that...

Steel Soldiers MV of the month May 2014 - Nominate here!

I would like to nominate my M814 "Long Easy". While she isn't much to look at, she is long and lean, and is one of the few 800 series trucks never to be rebuilt. Still has her original motor, transmission and transfer case.

    Nhc 250 cummins differences

A 250 is a 250. The only change will be the exhaust manifold, the priming system on the left, and some coolant piping on the right side. Everything else is the same

    Fuel Flow Back

Also check the flexible line from the fuel filter to the IP. It can crack, and suck air. Ask me how I know............

    1941 K18-C GMC Recovered today

The 302 is a bigger block, correct? Will it fit in the space allotted? It is a tough decision, to be sure. I would fix the 270, and see how she runs.

    1941 K18-C GMC Recovered today

I would think that crawling in the midst of a battlefield, looking for a break in the twisted pair would be far more dangerous than being a medic. Or carrying a boxy radioset on your back, following a major around a battlefield- remember that the lead guy almost never got it.........

    Zout's Cookout

The M814 is owned by me. It also came from South Carolina. I am glad the Boy Scouts had a good time. The Long Easy told me that she enjoyed the trip out of the yard, and all the attention that the boys gave her.
