Getting paint off of glass and tires?

All of the above. You didn't mention the type of paint or primer unless I missed it. The enamels are pretty easy to remove, the CARC and other polyurethanes will be much harder.

    Auction end for LARC V

Thats what I'm afraid of. There are probably only a few preserved as HMV. There weren't that many made and most are made to do tour duty, like the DUCK's after WW2. There aluminum construction makes them desireable for scrap when its high.

    Auction end for LARC V

Anybody watched/bid on the LARC V on GSA that sold today? I saw two at that lot when I picked up my truck. Not a very practical vehicle till there is a flood, but way cool. It sold for $21,550. When I saw it 3-1/2 yrs ago I was planning on being rich enough to afford it when it came up for sale.

Every State is different and what was true yesterday may not be true today. Go to the DMV website for you MD and dig through all the legaleaze language and try to figuire out as soon as you can and before your laws change for the worse, as they don't usually get better. Volunteers Needed

Ditto! I hope everyone reads through it before a PM. I'm sure Mangus has his hands full and I was close to doing the same thing. I Know I'm not Moderator material unless I lose my job and can devote time to it when I'm all there.

The city is making me sell my truck.

I'm sorry for your dilema. The thing that bothers me most is the fact that the crazy laws that go against what our nation was founded on, start there and spread like an infection.

I believe CARNAC would be correct as the best paint correct paint for a later model and would be the most durable. I used alkyd enamel Gillespie from Rapco because it of its cost and other peoples satisfaction with it for what I wanted There are lot of threads under the paint and bodywork...

If it worked on it and it worked before check to sure to make sure something you did with attaching the wires is touching a ground or check them with an ohmmeter with the points open and the external wires disconnected to see if the points have a defect. good luck!

    Title Drama

Check with your state laws as they are all a little different. If that works in your state it may work and the buyer might have bought it to resell and the taxes where he is would kill his profit. I don't think it works like that here as my Wife has worked with cars at banks here and it really...

    1st Deuce Project Begins

Lookin good. I'm not as dedicated as you seem to be and get interupted by family time. Hope you are able to knock it out quicker than I've been able to do. Good Luck!

    Oil pressure problem?

It could be just a high resitence problem caused by a bad gauge panel ground, or it could be bad news. Check all of the connections and see if you can put a jumper from the battery negative to the back of one of the gauge mounting posts? Having the same problem and mines a long term project I...
