A ticking sound sometimes indicates a head gasket fire ring compression leak, it will ooz fuel and look like oil if your running wmo as fuel.

As a safty precaution to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning,
make sure that your generator exhaust system is leak free and is extended and pointed away from any doors,windows,air conditioner systems and from underneath the camper.

Oddball's trailer was built with leaf springs on each axle, this allowed for no articulation, go over a hill and one axle comes off the ground causing the other to bare all the weight.
I remember having to stand on the trailer tongue to get it down to line up with the pintle hitch!
