    You should pull the fuel shut off cover off of the injection pump and make sure the fuel shutoff shaft moves freely. If it's stuck from sitting so long,it will cause excessive rpm's on startup.

    In Tank Fuel pump replacement

    Had that happen! Fished all the parts out of the bottom of the tank,put it back together and peened the housing so it wouldn't fall apart again. That was 4 years ago,still working!

    I bypassed mine and just left the spark plug in the hole, Doesn't look as nice as a plug but works.

    The m246 / m819 Are in fact great for lift recovery. With 360° swing capabilities and extended boom length they are able to pick or deliver objects to and from in front of the truck!

    That is definitely one good looking m246, i think the cleanest I've seen,and all there to boot! With the proper flat bed trailer,one could do some serious scrapping! I love my m246! Here's an old pick I found of one in use and what they were designed for, (aircraft recovery).
