    CUCV Alternator

you should be good on the autozone one. IMHO i would rebuild the bad one instead of turning it in for the core charge. The are very expensive to buy new and getting it rebuilt with the isolated ground isnt hard.

    CUCV Alternator

which one do you need the drivers side or the passenger side. The drivers side is replacable with a AutoZone DL7157 which is for a V8 Cadillac I believe. If one of yours is out You can move one of the good one to the Passenger side which requires an isolated ground. The drivers side doesnt which...

    POLL: Are YOU a VOTER ? ? ?

you know oddly enough i went to early voting last weekend. Since ive either been in the military and stationed out of state or in Iraq or Afganistan in a warzone I had never voted in an election from my residence ( i joined at 17). It had always been an absentee ballot. I walked in like normal...

    Redstone Arsenal loadout problem

they have a ramp for loading step deck trailers but it wont load a standard height trailer, you might have to hire a rollback wrecker

    Redstone Arsenal loadout problem

im not that far off, I can help get this done if possible. I really wasnt looking forward to a 800 dollar freight bill from huntsville to jackson. I have a friend who hauls coils to outside huntsville. I might see if he can grab both of ours on a backhaul. Then you would only be pulling from...

    m35A2 super single 395 install

if you look at how this type of split/ locking ring is designed you can see how that flange doesnt really surve any purpose other than to give the tire something to rest against preventing wear between the flap/tube and the tire itself. The flange on the inside doesnt have anything to do with...

    m35A2 super single 395 install

not really i measured the inside of the tire while it was at rest and it was only 10 1/4 " across. The sidewall was much thicker and the thread thickness and extra material on the bottom to make regrooveable ate up alllot of the difference. Even with just a little pressure to mount inside the...

    m35A2 super single 395 install

it was the thickness of the sidewall that threw a wrench in the works. I thought about a different design too but the only difference in them was the flange other than that they were a perfect match. They do allot of military tires from me and others im not worried about them.

    Bringing my M1009 home

glad you had a successful pickup, all in all your m1009 was probably in better shape than most. Your runs and had good batteries that almost never happens to me. The dents and dings are normal. The rust through is easily fixed with some fiberglass and resin and topped with some herculiner. im...

    m35A2 super single 395 install

The lock ring on this one was too long at the flange. In the picture the lockring with the green paint was too long to mount these 395's. Im not sure if the sidewall thickness is different between the tires but these just wouldnt mount at all. The guys who do my tires know their business doing...

    Redstone Arsenal loadout problem

I have a few trailers down in redstone. If you could drop them in jackson tennessee i would pay the majority of your cost in getting them in the semi. I need them hauled home anyway and was going to pay eric with hotshot to broker them anyway. PM me if you want to do that. I know its out of your...

    m35A2 super single 395 install

well i installed the 395/85/20 michelin tires today went really smooth except for the lip on the stock lock ring is too long it only needs about a half inch. i included a pic of both. the shorter one is the only one that will fit on the thicker sidewall on the 395's. If you use the stock ones...

    Manual Glow Plug install

well i was reading the forum and have never seen the pictures on it posted so thought i would do it and get ya'll to critique it and see if i did it right. I was looking for the "orange wire" on the top of the relay but mine doesnt have it so i left it alone. I left the controller card installed...
