Guy had no idea CUCV's were common keyed

good point doghead but im not too worried about this guy. People are pretty honest around here. Everybody knows everybody and im almost the only one around here who messes with MV's. If someone did grab one of my vehicles for a joy ride it would get back to me in a day or two to find out who it...

Guy had no idea CUCV's were common keyed

funny story, a guy down the road from me had a really clean M1009 for sale. Mostly stock with worn Super Swamper 33's ( i think) but had a cleanly installed 350 and 12v conversion. Im normally not for a gas burning 12v but i was already there. Well anyway in the course of talking i jumped in the...

    M8 Armored Car in Iraq

i worked at the dept of state in baghdad for 5 years. That is who you are going to have to go through in conjuction with ATF to get it shipped out of the country. I hate to say it but you would have a better shot of growing wings and flying to the moon than getting anything out of that group of...

    neighbor problems

my advice help someone move or pull a tree out of a yard on saturday. Or pick up mulch or sand to level a swimming pool. Everyone has a need for an old cargo truck occasionally but not everyone has one. Be nice and offer to help and you might meet some nice people and get to help in the process...

    m1009 gov. auction

ditto, you never know what is going on mechanically until you get it. Even then with it running doesnt mean it will make it back to where you live. I always tow mine back. a m1009 will flat tow behind anything.

welcome edge, i bought once from GL in ft sill once. Its a good site with easy to deal with people. i think nancy was the one i worked with. They arent going to let you do any work on it in the yard so bring something to pull them outside the gate if you are going to do anything with them...
