I previewed those trucks while i was picking up a M101. I agree mike was great the younger guy with him was a great help too. Those trucks were incredible. Its amazing how much resources of ours the government waste. Works out great for us until you think about it being our money to begin with.
I really miss my 404. It was by far the best 4x4 ive ever owned. If i was you i would replace the points ignition with a Petronix unit. I got much better performance out of mine once i did. I also converted the stock tires to 11.00 by 20 michelins and got a bit more road speed and better offroad...
i think two batches ought to do it. Maybe 10 gallons more or less when bottled. Does anyone have a final head count or just a general ballpark figure of how many are coming.
usually in the fall/winter i make an Ale. But a nice stout would be great. I have had a russian imperial stout that was incredible.
I am making more of my Holiday Ale that was a big hit last year. It cost somewhere between 30-50 dollars per 5 gallon batch for me to brew it and i can bottle it...
im really looking forward to this yall just dont know, what do i need to bring for group use stuff. Ive been making my own beer for a long time, any reqest so i can start brewing
I dont use Line X i use Raptor but ive applied it directly over CARC a bunch of times. It does fine. Use an abrasive wheel to remove any loose or peeling paint and just go for it. IMHO sandblasting it would be a wasted effort. If the CARC is in decent shape then spot sand and prime any problem...
I kind of like the carpet one. I can put a roll of duck tape on it and use it as a cup holder. I love them but nothing ruins a military vehicle look quite like a cupholder does
cool ive been hearing about things moving allot faster maybe somebody got replaced/fired/or decided to start working in some mysterious cubical somewhere in red tape land....lol
it will work fine the issue was just starting it off one battery instead of two. The 24v is a stronger system but the 12v will work just fine. its what the civ vehicles come with anyway.
trailers and such arent any problem all of mine clear in no time. its m35's that seem to be giving everyone problems. Gauges on the M35a2's and runflats or something on the M35A3's. Im not sure whatelse is getting stalled if anything.

Starter
24V but can be changed to 12V with one change of a wire. All that has to be done is move the wire that goes to the starter (big red one) off the junction block on the fire wall and moved to the + side of the first battery. This should be done only if...
hold the phone champ you can keep the system 24v and have a 12v starter. Look under the CUCV FAQ page in the forum. There is an article that tells how to wire a 12v starter to the stock system and keep everything else working normally. You just change one wire if i remember correctly.
i just found that out about GL holding/processing? the demil paperwork myself. After calling BC about day 55 they had told me that they had just recieveed the EUC and paperwork on august5th. GL told me they had sent it on june 17th ish. Once they got all the paperwork they needed i was cleared...
Well the trip started the day before yesterday in west tennessee going to ft sill oklahoma to pick up a M1009 I had won. I couldnt find anyone to go with me so I was going to flat-tow it back with a towbar. After a long but enjoyable trip I got to the GL Lot on Ft Sill. Great experience with...
nice catch on the tranny, i had a gama goat that was bad about catching like that. got to where i could knock it back into neutral in about 15 minutes.
nice truck.....
i did the same thing....almost .....last week. The Gen2 light came on (after i just got through replacing both alts the week before) and i was like "crap, i screwed up somewhere or the alt was bad) turns out i just threw a belt like you did. the only difference was I did crack the hood to see...
