My DTC 8606 Forklift had an either kit on it when I got it, no bottle though. The problem is the line that runs from the kit to the manifold is broke with about 6" missing. Does anyone know the size or composition of this line for a replacement? I've looked all through the parts manual for...
Keep an eye on the onsite auctions on GSA, that's where a lot of the forestry and fire dept. turnins are auctioned off. That's where I bought my '53 M37. The only thing that wasn't original was the tailgate and racks were missing, and a plate had been welded to the grill protector for the red...
Even if he had some Bjorn is a might to far away. I'm thinkin' this summer I might whip up a batch just to try the glycerine for degreaser. I have about 75 gallons of filtered waste motor oil right now so I really don't need the biodiesel, but I have a tractor engine I need to clean up for...
You may not need to add more lye, just try using a little less water to disolve your lye. My brother and I still make homemade lye soap since the 60s. We've always used animal fat, beef and pork. Beef makes a harder soap, pork softer, we try to use 50/50. Using less water initally will make...
RE: modeler
Some really great models and diaramas. After I "grew" out of my modeling phase, I got into HO trains. Took that apart and stored it after we had kids. Now they're grown if not out I may dig through some stuff. There's a packing crate in my Dad's barn loft with all my models from...
What about jumping a truck with no batteries with a Nato slave cable and leaving the cable hooked up while the jumped vehicle is running. Wouldn't the vehicle doing the jumping batteries protect the alternator? I was told way back to not have the engine on in the vehicle doing the jumping to...
I just wanted to bring this back to the top and test to see if I can post again, I been having trouble lately. I'm still looking to find out if the 800 series springs and axles are the same as the M 54.
On another note can you mount the 1400X20 tires on regular 5 ton wheels like the M54 has?

The upper pad is what the Ubolts go over above the springs, the lower pad and the shock mount are under the spring and the Ubolts clamp them in place around the axle housing. In the 34P, figure 123 they're items 31, 14, and 15.
