    I bet its one of the seals in the pump they are usually what go bad in a transmission and then the bands.

    yes they both are easy. if your looking at a M1009 you will have no issue's on the freeway. But if your looking at a M1008 variant then yes freeways suck.

    Any year 2wd steering box fits its just either o ring or flair fitting on the box.

    going from push pull to cross over on one of these trucks is like night and day the turning radius is insane you can turn way better than you ever could with push-pull steering.

    Your weak link is just a 205 its low range is only 2:01 vs a 241 which is 2:72 or a 208 which is 2:65. 4:88 gears will help more on than the free way than 4:56 gears
