To the comment about the dropside....I think length is the issue here, not width.

I looked up some specs on Edmunds, and it looks like a "quad cab" dodge 1500 with the 6' 4" bed will be somewhere around 19 feet in length bumper to bumper. I don't know the bed length of your new truck...
The dodge is 6 feet and 8" wide.

Definitely a lizard, more specifically a lot lizard. They tend to live near truck stops and feed off of the souls of drivers and other scraps. Stay clear, as they may harbor dangerous diseases.
