I would prefer a vinyl cover. Either green or camo.

    BOUGHT THE MIGHTY MITE!

Actually, my wife doesn't have much interest in the Mite. To her it's not that different than the go-karts & atvs. But, I really do need to get her M813A1 painted. She likes big ones.

    BOUGHT THE MIGHTY MITE!

Brakes done, driveshafts to all 4 wheels in, engine, trans, transfer in. Exhaust hooked-up. Ran engine a little, but carb leaking. Got a kit to put in it. My "partner" in this Mite bought another one that runs, so interest in getting this Mite together has diminished. I'll probably get back to...

    Electric Heater

GoHot, Those shown will only help if temperatures are above 60 or so. 24 Volt electric heat with a standard MV electrical system? Fuggedaboutit. Just can't get the necessary BTUs.

    Electric Heater

Unless you plan to carry a generator in the back, electric heat isn't feasible.

    M-35 cab heater

Karl, My first Deuce came from Roseau Minnesota, way up north. It has the hot water heater mounted under the dash, recirculating the cab air for max heat. Also has the essential front winter radiator/grill cover. No problems at -10 once it's warmed up.

Used Motor Oil and Reg. Gas

I run "about" 50/50 WMO & whatever is cheapest at the time.

    Dual 14R20 on 5 ton

Master Logger, I can't help with info, but I'm curious. What the heck are you hauling that weighs 25 tons? Trees? Got any pictures of a truck loaded like that?

    User CP question.

Greenies. Like little brownies but made by Leprechauns. They mean you'll get lucky.

Need VIN inspection by LEO in Halifax, NC

Indiana has it's own form. I would think all states would. Any local LEO can confirm VIN. Before registering as an antique or historic vehicle, we have to have it "inspected" by a State police officer. Some actually check lights etc, but most just check the VIN.

How do you turn the heater on??

Put on some nice music, or a chick flick. Dim the lights or light some candles. Open a nice Merlot. Listen, don't talk. Always works for me.

    Odd Camo?

Yup! Just like the ones TedG & BFR posted. If they leave the gate open, I'll try to get one for parades.....................

    Odd Camo?

Drove by the AM General Humvee plant yesterday. Saw a LOT of Humvees with a strange camo. Mostly tan, with green, black, & dark brown. Can't imagine what terrain it could hide in. Stood out like a searchlight! Anybody know where they're going?

How do you change a tire

I'd just blast it & then mask for painting. A little bit of sand blasting "overspray" on the tire won't hurt it.

    keeping warm in the winter...cheap

My heater under the glove box works great!

    Rear axle alignment?

The spring ends in all 4 of my trucks shift around like that. As long as the dogbones are okay, I think it's normal.

    Dont run into an m35a2

Do I have to give a lecture on "age discrimination?" I plan to keep on driving my trucks till I'm 99 or so. You kids had best learn to get out of the way. Uhhh? What were we talking about? Large fries with that please. My parakeet loves them.

    window fan

I bought a couple of fans that are supposed to be 24 volt. I ran one a short while on 24 volt. I found that if I let it run "wide open", no resistance, it was fine. But as soon as I would slow it down, adding resistance, the switch got really hot. And even at the slowest setting, it was still...

    Good Deal or Not

Sometimes it's worth the effort to try & get your neighbors interested in what you do. Maybe they'll want to play too. I'm lucky I guess. Seven miles from town, so no baloney ordinances to deal with. And a lot of my police & veteran buddies come over to shoot at my range. I think some of my...
